Our Chaplain, Tom Johnson, coordinates the religious services and programs for all of our residents on both campuses. As we strive to meet the physical and emotional needs of our residents, spiritual care is an essential component.
On Sundays at 1:30pm, a non-denominational devotional service is led by clergy of local churches in Osceola. All worship services are assisted by volunteers from the community and are held in our chapel.
Catholic Mass is held every Thursday at 11:00am and is celebrated by a visiting priest from the community. Also on Thursdays at 1:30pm is our Lutheran devotion. Special worship services are also offered on holy days (e.g. Good Friday, Christmas Eve).
We welcome all residents and their families, as well as the surrounding community to participate in worship services here.
For many of our residents on campus, this is their final home. Acknowledging the need to remember and celebrate these loved ones after they have died, an occasional memorial service is held to honor those who have recently passed away. Families are invited to attend as well as current residents and staff members. Tom also provides additional grief support to residents and families upon request.
